Counselling
Counselling can help us learn that we can all be much more than we are! Counselling and therapy are about creating possibilities in our lives. I believe we all have a desire to grow. Our role as therapists is to support and nurture the clients' own notion of how they live their life and follow their own path. However, existing destructive patterns of behaviour or negative thinking can block the progress. Counselling and therapy draw on the strength of the client, helping them to reach their full potential. We help clients work on their fears and anxieties and help them to realise that we do have choices. We seek to provide a safe and confidential space to enable clients to gain insight and self-awareness and to explore ways to deal with situations and crises they may be facing. The price of effective therapy is equivalent to a weekly night out or an item of clothing - both of which can make you feel better instantly, but won't HEAL you in the long run. Therapy doesn't change you - it gives you the tools. You do the work; you develop the inner voice that monitors your actions and reactions. It can enable you to face up to your weaknesses and build on your strengths for I believe we can all be much more than we are!
