Transactional Analysis is a personality and communication theory for understanding human behaviour, and how we relate to each other.

I work within this (TA) framework, which is described as an integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy, bringing together elements of various methodologies.

There are many reasons why people seek counselling: lack of direction, a sense of feeling lost, grief or perhaps repetitive patterns that are causing concern. I believe that everyone is valuable and has the capacity and ability to make new decisions in life, I see this as a place for self-discovery and growth.

I support clients to explore and identify patterns of behaviour in their own personality and how this has been shaped by past experiences, particularly those stemming from childhood. Whilst counselling may feel daunting for some, I believe that great awareness of one’s mind can give a more open state of being, as we become more attuned to our own feelings, thoughts, and desires.

In providing clients with a safe space, to explore the meaning of what they bring.  I aim to support them to also to develop a deeper connection with themselves and those around them raising their awareness to make positive choices going forward. The focus of counselling is to enable clients to navigate their life in a way that is manageable. I believe that counselling gives clients the tools to become more attuned to their feelings, thoughts, and desires

Training and Background

During my training I volunteered at The Awareness Centre in Clapham and within the NHS working with adults in both long-term and short-term counselling. I currently work with children voluntarily within a secondary school. I spent 15 years as a professional in the design industry with a BA Hons in Fashion and Design Studies. I understand the pressures of a work environment, and the everyday demands in life to get things right, to please others and those unspoken expectations. My voyage of self-discovery had begun before my career change, with an interest in Mindfulness and Buddhism.

I offer individual counselling sessions to adults and young adults over 18 on a long or short-term basis in order to give us both the opportunity to hear each other and for you to ask me any questions you may have I offer a free initial telephone consultation.

Sessions are 50 minutes and are £55.00 per session. If you would like to arrange an appointment at a mutually convenient time, please call me on 07375118077. Alternatively call or WhatsApp the Centre on 07821688332
