Seeking the support and help of a therapist can be daunting. I aim to provide a safe, and relaxed environment for clients to feel they can talk without judgement, and to work towards gaining greater personal understanding and insight.
I work within the philosophical assumptions of TA psychotherapy, that everyone is OK, that everyone has the resources to make decisions and the capacity for change.
There are many reasons that people seek counselling, feeling anxious, unhappy, problems with relationships or simply not feeling like your authentic ‘you’, with the support of a trained counsellor, it is possible to identify unhelpful patterns of behaviour, to bring about change and achieve mutually agreed goals.
My experience as a counsellor:
I have many years’ experience working psychotherapeutically as a counsellor in clinical practice with a wide variety of issues within non-profit organisations, and private practice. I enjoy working with a wide range of people from various backgrounds and a range of issues including:
- Anxiety & Stress
- Low mood
- Depression
- Couples
- Relationships & relationship problems
- Abuse
- Trauma
- Self-esteem & self-confidence
- Bereavement and loss
- Addiction

Please feel free to contact me via e-mail or telephone so we can discuss your needs and arrange for an initial face to face meeting to take place. We will then arrange a regular day and time for future sessions.
