Centre Director and Founder Jenni Camplin
With over 25 years of experience as a counsellor, I understand that individuals seek counselling for a multitude of reasons, including bereavement, loss of a partner through divorce, trauma from childhood experiences, depression, family conflict, and relationship issues, among others. These concerns can feel overwhelming when faced alone and too painful to share. The aim of the centre is to provide support and offer a safe and confidential environment where clients can explore their feelings. This process may lead to greater insight and self-awareness, and eventually, help clients find ways to manage situations and crises they may be encountering. Although taking the initial step to contact a counsellor can be daunting, it can also mark the beginning of a journey towards addressing what is hindering us from living more fully. Speaking with someone outside of our family situation in a relaxed atmosphere can facilitate more open and honest discussions about challenging emotions such as anger and fear.
