Integrative Counsellor
Hello I’m Chris
Starting counselling can sometimes feel daunting, taking that first step to reach out for help. I offer a warm and supportive space to explore whatever you may bring to the sessions, to work with you to help you better understand yourself, your patterns of behaviour for you to be able to choose the change you want.
I am a BACP registered, fully qualified Integrative Counsellor, with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I use different approaches tailored to each client’s needs as everyone is a unique individual. I am non-judgemental and empathetic and I understand sometimes life just gets overwhelming, or maybe you just feel stuck and there’s no-one to turn to.
My background is in education and I’ve always had a strong sense of community, including volunteering with the homeless and Foodbank. I have experience working for an addiction charity as a Counsellor and also as a Bereavement Support Counsellor at St Christopher’s Hospice, where I currently volunteer.
Areas I can help with include:
Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, Loss, Addiction, Suicide, Work-related issues, Family issues, Anger, Low self esteem/ confidence, Stress, Trauma, Abuse, Women’s issues, Family issues.
Fees and appointments
My fee is £60 for a 50 minute individual session.
I offer a free 15 minute phone call where you can ask me any questions to see if I am the right counsellor for you.
