I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor
Life can throw us all sorts of challenges, but you don’t need to face these alone. I am aware that it can be daunting to take the first step towards seeking help and support, but my hope is that you will experience me as warm and sincere.
I work with an integrative model which means that I tailor my approach to work in a way which is best for you as an individual. I strive to collaboratively create a strong therapeutic relationship, which I believe is the key to successful therapy, and by providing a space where you can talk through any concerns you may have with no judgement, helps you gain a greater understanding of yourself and how you relate to others.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have a BACP approved Level 4 diploma in therapeutic counselling and am also trained in the Gerald Egan model for crisis intervention work.
I have over 25 years’ experience in workplace crisis counselling intervention for a global airline, offering both telephone and face to face support.
Additionally, my previous experience extends to counselling in a secondary school setting, working as a respite foster carer for the London borough of Bromley and am currently providing bereavement support voluntarily for St Christophers Hospice.
The issues I work with include anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, low self-esteem, stress, relationship difficulties, work related issues and health issues.
